Field Notes from the Wild is an occasional newsletter about story, ritual, grief, queerness, and the slow work of authoring a life instead of performing one. I write it in my own voice, from Victoria, BC, and send it only when something’s worth saying.

Who’s writing I’m Jonathan Brower, a story forager and ceremonial designer. Through my practice, Narrative Wild, I work one-to-one through narrative transformation sessions, and co-design ceremonies: weddings, memorials, and the thresholds in between. This newsletter is where the thinking behind that work spills out.
